6x6 Album: Done

And I bawled when I finished it! I'm so very glad I did this for him.

You know, when most of the children I watch leave here, I still get to see them, so it doesn't hit as hard. But this one is moving across the country, and I know I'll never see him again. It's a very different kind of sadness.

I did 40 pages, not including the front cover and back cover. It was quick and easy- nothing fancy at all, but it was done with love. My main goal was to make sure he had something to remember this time by. He's only 3 1/2, and it's hard to remember things from this stage of life as you grow up.

Kacy will miss him a LOT! She's already talking about sending him pictures! So that will be good. Hopefully we can stay in touch, but you know how that goes sometimes.

He is going to cherish that album when he gets older, what a great idea! It's good for your soul too!

40 pages in a couple of days? It only makes sense that you've been in a scrap defunct lately...you were saving all your "creative energy" for when you really needed to put it to good use!

On another note...what a happening blog you've got here, the music rocks! I'm switching my tunes over to yours, much better!

Hey Tracy,
I'm glad you got to dinish the album. Sometimes we need to do it to remember all the great memories we have in our hearts and the fact that they will always be there. I'm sure he will love hauling it out every once in a while and reliving the memories!
