Relay for Life layout

I scrapped some pages last Saturday. Here are two Relay for Life layouts. Nothing special, but I definitely wanted to remember them. We have several Survivors on our team and in our family, and we started our team in honor of them. These pictures are from June 2009.

Oh, how I love to watch her dance!!! She is SO into it!!!

I know the paper isn't your typical dance paper, but seriously, I loved the music notes in the background and just could not resist!!!

Yes! I'm posting! Fall Layouts, even!

Busy, busy, busy!!! Other than that simple word, I have no excuse for not posting. Other than the fact that I really have NOT been scrapbooking, either (shocking, I know). I've just been concentrating on other priorities, and unfortunately, scrapbooking moved down the list a bit.

But... I did host a Scrap-a-thon to benefit my Relay for Life team! That was yesterday, and I got 12 pages done! Woo-hoo! And today I did a few more!

I'll spread them out over a few posts so as not to overwhelm you all! :)

Penn State Scrapbook Layout (Nittany Lion AND JoePa!)

I think the title says it all! We are HUGE Penn State fans, and Kris graduated from there, too. We took Kacy to State College for the first time last month, and no trip is complete with a photo with the Nittany Lion!

We were hoping for a picture with the Joe Paterno statue, but it POURED that day on and off. It was pouring the first time we passed the statue, but we circled around and by the time we reached it again, it had stopped raining- just for a couple minutes! But that's all we needed to get the shot! :)

Wedding Scrapbook Layouts

Here are some more wedding pages! Again, I used our wedding colors of purple, black, and white, and the Wisteria Line by Basic Grey. I also used Pagemaps for a LOT of my layout ideas!

Using Pagemaps is definitely stepping out of my comfort zone, as I'm a die-hard Close to My Heart layout girl! But I think it's good to mix things up- don't you? :)

Wedding Day pages

Part of the reason I haven't posted in THREE MONTHS (yikes!) is because I've been working on my wedding pictures. What a daunting task, let me tell you! I found paper (the Wisteria line by Basic Grey) that I just loved, and it works VERY well with my wedding colors of white, black, and purple.

I would love to post all of my pages, but I'll just choose a few to share with you. Maybe I'll even post more tomorrow! :)

Cards Ideas using CTMH stamps!

It's been a while since I've posted cards (or, let's be honest- anything!), but here are the cards I stamped for my Top Ten Sellers on my Tastefully Simple team for May and June!

This layout took me FOREVER to do!!! I just couldn't make it work so that I liked it! And I love penguins, so this was particularly frustrating!

Okay, I have NO IDEA where I saw this idea, but I bought the pattern and did it! It turned out REALLY cute, if I do say so myself! It's my first, so it's not perfect, and it was definitely easier than it looked!

Kacy's Third Birthday Layout!

Okay, so she's now FOUR- I'm getting there! It's not like I haven't done her second birthday (well, ONE layout of her second birthday!)! LOL

She had her birthday at Paramount Sports Complex. She took gymnastic classes there, and her teacher, Miss Lynnette, offered to do her party. We couldn't resist that!

Of course, it was a "Disney Princess" theme!!! Hope you like these pages- I still have more to do, but I wanted to get these posted!

"Before Kacy" pregnancy layout

I found (yes, found!) this layout from when I was pregnant with Kacy. Sadly, there aren't many picture of me pregnant, so I cherish these (yes, I *found* them!).

These were taken in January 2005, one month before Kacy was due.

This is another layout that I started a couple of months ago, but I needed a title. I'm great at journaling, but I'm not that great at coming up with titles. So this sat on my table for a LONG time, until FINALLY the journaling and the title came together! I had journaled a while ago, but only finished the title today.

I really do love how Kacy is always "Embracing Life"! As adults, we tend to forget that at times, don't we?

Princesses on Ice

Last year, Kris and I took Kacy to the Giant Center in Hershey to see "Princesses on Ice". Unfortunately, my camera isn't top of the line, so the pictures weren't great, but I scrapped them anyway (of course!)! I used lots of Princess paper, which made it easy to do these 12 pages, which I completed at the March all-day crop!
